Digital Pen Pals

November 2020 - March 2021

Digital Pen Pals was an international creative exchange project between This New Ground Collective from London, UK and Resonnaari Group from Helsinki, Finland. The members from each respective group in the UK and Finland never met in person, speak different languages and had a variety of support needs. This project was an exciting opportunity to bring learning disabled artists together from across Europe to inspire and learn from each other and explore how Figurenotes can be used creatively as a shared language for creating music together via online platforms.

This project was delivered in partnership with Lifesize CIC.

Digital Pen Pals Project had to be put on pause due to the impact of COVID -19. We hope to resume this project in the future.
