This New Ground are delighted to launch their in house inclusive design services which includes easy read document design and accessibility feedback. In collaboration with the TNG collective we can create easy read versions of all different types of informations, ranging from reports, meeting agendas and minutes, guides and manuals. We can also provide feedback on the accessibility of your communications, print and digital collateral.

If your organisation provides services to people, then we encourage you to produce your information in easy read. By creating easy read documents, you are making steps to creating a more inclusive world for people with learning disabilities, giving them a seat at the table and a chance to have their voices heard and be a valued part of the conversation.

Our easy read services are co-designed with our panel of learning disabled advisors working in a paid role. TNG are committed to furthering employment opportunities of people with learning disabilities in H&F. Our paid advisory roles provide training and experience for our collective members giving them opportunities to develop their communication, design and technology skills.

Faisal a member of TNG advisory panel, is an artist specialising in illustration and is an experienced board member who sits on several local advisory boards. Faisal says: “I am pleased to be part of the easy read team for This New Ground. I am part of a few local advisory boards. People with learning disabilities need easy read documents to help understand what is written. It helps us truly be part of meetings and we can share our thoughts if we can clearly understand reports and information.”

All easy read guides are professionally designed and can be matched to your organisations branding. Lucy, our easy read co-designer has over 20 years experience as a graphic designer and illustrator. She has many years experience working with people with learning disabilities co-creating design, illustration, and easy read accessible information.

We use photosymbols as our images - a photo library for easy read information featuring actors with learning disabilities. We can also create bespoke illustrations for your document – please contact us for a quote.
