I AM A DJ AND A CREATIVE PERSON WITH A PASSION FOR DESIGN

I taught myself how to DJ. This is one of my tracks on Soundcloud, it’s called Amelie Lens. I chose to share this track with you because I like the the beat and rhythm. The program I used to make it is called ‘Audacity’.

I have lots of experience DJing at events, most recently I deejayed at Mencap’s Funky Nites as well as in other club nights such as Soda Club in East Croydon.

Here is one of my creative designs, it’s a graphic drawing of a party atmosphere. I designed this image in Microsoft Publisher.

At the moment I’m taking part in a music making project with This New Ground. I’m learning to play different instruments, such as the guitar and keyboard. Our next gig will be as part of Joy Festival on the 12th of June 2020 at the Lyric Hammersmith.

I am also learning how to use music making Apps, such as Bloom and Thumbjam. At the moment Bloom is the app I most like to experiment with and I hope to connect these new skill to my deejaying.
