Week #1 - "You Not Me" - The beginning of a work in progress
Welcome to Catherine and Nathalie’s blog.
Sit down and rest, relax, have a cup of tea and a jaffa cake.
Who are we?
We are here.
A little about us:
Catherine is 36 and very much looking forward to turning 37. Nathalie is 30 and rather anxious of getting old.
We met at the BCH choir. We are good friends. We love to sing.
We have agreed to travel together on a creative journey to make a piece of theatre. We will perform our work in progress at Brighton University.
Nathalie: What will we say to our audience when they arrive?
Catherine: Why are you here?
Please join us on our journey by following our blog.
Big Hugs.

‘The essence of the culture and how we work is not about a very finite, definite end point that is agreed before the start of a project. It is more the agreement to travel together. To a destination that may be a little shady....but you’re comfortable when you get there, whatever it’s like.’
(Mark Willams, Heart n Soul, 2014)
This is a reflective diary following Catherine and Nathalie's creative exchange exploring how performance can promote equality between artists with and without learning disabilities.
